The man accused of murdering a New Zealand woman who was holidaying in Queensland will remain in custody.
Last month, Warriena Wright, who was 26 and also known as Rrie, died after falling from a balcony at 28-year-old Gable Tostee's 14th floor apartment in Surfers Paradise.
At the Brisbane Supreme Court today, Mr Tostee's lawyer asked for him to be released on bail - but that was denied.
A reporter for the Courier Mail newspaper, Kate Kyriacou, says his lawyer has the chance to apply for bail again.
