One person has been taken to Palmerston North Hospital in a serious condition after being injured in Feilding.
Police are investigating after a man was reportedly shot in Collins Crescent in the Manawatū town, about 4pm on Friday.
A man suffered what appears to be a gunshot wound and has been transported to hospital in a serious condition, police said this evening.
Officers are working to establish the circumstances leading to the man's injuries and believe they were sustained at another location within Feilding.
At this stage, no specific concerns are held for the wider public, police said.
