Woods apologises for spitting

The world golf number one Tiger Woods has has apologized after being fined for spitting during the Dubai Desert Classic over the weekend.

Woods has written on his Twitter account that it was inconsiderate to spit he know's better.

Woods, was caught spitting several times by television cameras during the tournament at which he finished tied for 20th.

Former tour professional Ewen Murray, now a commentator, voiced his displeasure saying Woods at times is simply arrogant and petulant.

Officials won't say how much the the fine is but Woods was reportedly paid $4million to compete at the tournament.
