Police are searching for a swimmer who has been missing for three days.
The man was seen experiencing difficulty in the water near the Gulf Harbour Marina on the Whangaparāoa Peninsula on Sunday evening.
Police said he entered the water from the rock breakwater near the entrance to the marina some time between 8pm and 9pm.
Police and the Coastguard have been searching the area over the last few days but said they hadn't found anyone.
The search resumed this morning.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen the swimmer at the breakwater on Sunday or has any information that may help them to contact them.
