Fire crews are still battling a house fire north of Tākaka in Golden Bay after working through the night.
Fire and Emergency were called to a two-storey house on Patons Rock Road at 8pm.
Six trucks are on site and the fire has not been put out yet.
A fire investigator is expected to arrive at the scene today.
No injuries have been reported and the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
