Tonight's Rocket Lab mission that was set to take off from Mahia Peninsula has been stood down.
The mission, called Another One Leaves the Crust, was scheduled for lift-off at about 8:44pm but was delayed so the organisation can review sensor data.
It will send a single communication micro satellite in a spaces lower-earth orbit for a German based company.
Rocket Lab's Head of Communication Morgan Bailey said standing down a launch is very common in the space industry.
It would have been the company's 18th mission.
