South Auckland Middle School and Vanguard Military School have provided Radio New Zealand with copies of their reports.
The reports say both Auckland schools have made a good start and their students are responding positively to teachers' high expectations.
The review office says the military school is on track to meet its academic targets, while the middle school's use of inquiry learning is broadening students' knowledge and developing their ability to learn independently.
South Auckland Middle School said a good review is incredibly important, but it is unlikely to change the minds of charter school critics.
Reviews of the three other charter schools are scheduled for later this year and early in 2015.
