Police in American Samoa are expected to bring in from Samoa 40 women to testify against the alleged leaders of a prostitution ring.
A court appearance is planned for next week for a Samoan woman, Siitu Sanerivi, was this week charged with six counts of promoting prostitution in American Samoa.
If found guilty, she could be jailed for up to 15 years.
She has been accused along with her de facto Chinese husband, Wei Li Fang, to have hired young Samoan women to work as prostitutes at their bar.
