The body of a fisherman swept off the rocks on the Catlins coast has been found.
Police said the man went missing at Slope Point, Southland, about 2.20pm on Tuesday.
A search including Land Search and Rescue, the local coastguard, Helicopters Otago and a nearby fishing boat found his body a short time later.
The man's family has been notified.
Local iwi placed a rāhui between Haldane Estuary and Waipapa Creek until 10 October.
