An anonymous blog detailing hundreds of accounts of sexual harassment and bullying paints a grim picture of the legal profession, says the president of the Law Society.

The blog was set up by legal researcher Zoe Lawton after revelations of sexual misconduct at the Russell McVeagh law firm.

A copy of the blog will be given to the Justice Minister, universities, and the Law Society today.

Kathryn Beck said she will work with Ms Lawton about taking action over some of the cases.

"One of the things we will be talking to her about, and in particular when we meet her this afternoon, is whether she would feel able to go back to some of those people and see if they would be willing to talk to us so that we can actually take some action in relation to some of those stories."

The Law Society is also running a survey where people can give details of misconduct in the workplace.
