Multiple people have been stabbed in clashes between competing groups at a rally by white nationalists in California.
The violence occurred outside the state's capitol building in Sacramento.
The Sacramento Fire Department said seven people had been taken to hospital, two with life-threatening stab wounds.
The violence is understood to have involved people from the nationalist rally the Traditionalist Worker party and a group of counter-protesters.
ABC10 reporter Frances Wang was filming as the protests turned violent.
