Otago distiller hoping snow will improve his whisky's flavour

A Central Otago distiller is hoping the "white stuff " blanketing the region will boost the quality and flavour of his whisky.

The polar blast has caused temperatures to drop below freezing at Lammermoor Station and distillery in the Maniototo.
