Fiji's Bureau of Statistics says poor internet connectivity has hampered the census count in the Northern Division.

Senior statistician Emali Soderberg said the weak signal in the north was making it difficult to transfer data from tablets in the field back to headquarters.
She told FBC News there had also been issues with dogs preventing access to some homes.
She said some households had complained about how they were counted and have asked to be recounted and the Bureau was able to revisit those who request this.
The census counting period was due to finish this coming Sunday.
The last census was held ten years ago in 2007 recording the permanent population of Fiji as 837,000 with a population density of 45 inhabitants per square kilometre, and life expectancy of 72 years.
