Fiji winger Rupeni Caucaunibuca says he is angry over media reports that he is going to quit New Zealand professional rugby and move to Europe.

Caucaunibuca, who plays for the Super 12 team Blues and provincial Northland, was reacting to a report in the New Zealand Herald that he was to make the move at the end of the season when his contract expires.

According to the news agency AAP, Caucaunibuca says it's disgusting and he's not happy about it because false information portrays a bad image of him.

He says right now he's concentrating on the Super 12 and he doesn't want any distraction from any other club.

Caucaunibuca would not talk about his plans when his contract is over.
