A woman has been arrested in Wellington, in connection with an investigation into Nomad gang members.
The 46-year-old has been charged with the unlawful possession of a firearm.
It comes after a loaded, cutdown shotgun was recovered by police in December.
Police are making enquiries into recent criminal offending by Nomad members and associates, which includes the supply of firearms in the Wellington area.
Further arrests and charges are likely, police say.
