Garmin continues to dominate Tour

Julian Dean's Garmin-Cervelo team continues to dominate the start of the Tour de France with another victory, this time on the third stage, a 198km ride in Brittany.

Tour leader Thor Hushovd and Dean led-out American team-mate Tyler Farrar to a sprint victory.

Hushovd finished 6th and Dean 7th.

Farrar made a 'W' sign on the line in homage to his best friend, Wouter Weylandt, who died in a crash in the Giro d'Italia in May.

It was the first victory on the Tour for the 27-year-old American, who has won stages on the other two big Tours, the Giro and the Spanish Vuelta.

Hushovd retains the Tour leaders yellow jersey and is on the same time as another team-mate David Millar of Scotland.
