Learning to swim is a right of passage for many kiwi kids. A new report reveals that nearly two in four New Zealand kids don't attend swimming lessons, with a third of parents surveyed believing their child is too young to learn to swim. It also found only 30% of New Zealand parents are confident their child has the skills to help themselves in a water emergency. So how can we make sure all New Zealanders are safe in the water?
