Pakistan test captain Misbah-ul-Haq will quit international cricket after the three-test series in West Indies beginning later this month.
The 43-year-old said he told the Pakistan Cricket Board some time ago it will be his last series.
"I will try to finish it on a high note, there was no pressure on me."
Since his 2011 test debut he has made 4,951 runs from 72 matches - a 45 plus average.
Misbah was handed the test captaincy in 2010 after a spot-fixing scandal led to a ban on his predecessor Salman Butt.
