The multi million dollar Karaka National Yearling Sales kicked off in Auckland on Sunday. It's the biggest week of the year for the thoroughbred racing industry, and this year more than 1200 horses are up for sale. RNZ rural reporter Alexa Cook was there, and took a closer look behind the scenes.
