A person has been arrested this evening after police earlier responded to reports of shots being fired at a West Auckland building.
Police said they were alerted to reports of a shooter at an industrial building site on Hobsonville Road.
A 29-year-old man has been charged with discharging a firearm in/near a place/dwelling. He is due to appear in Waitakere District Court on 15 December.
