State Highway 73 at Arthur's Pass has re-opened following a serious crash this afternoon.
One person was seriously injured in the motorcycle crash, which was reported to emergency services just after 2.30pm.
They were taken to Christchurch Hospital by helicopter.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
