The Greens in French Polynesia have presented their candidates for the two French Senate seats to be filled in four weeks.
The party, which has no seat in the territorial assembly, nominated Jacky Bryant and Raissa Bruneau.
A 700-strong electoral college will choose French Polynesia's two Senators on 27 September.
The frontrunners are the candidates of the ruling Tapura Huiraatira, Teva Rohfritsch and Lana Tetuanui, who has held her seat for five years.
One of the incumbents, Nuihau Laurey, still seeks re-election despite falling out with the Tapura.
Also in the run is the veteran pro-independence politician Oscar Temaru.
