Two arrests after men critically hurt in Auckland's Glendene

Two men are facing charges after an assault in the Auckland suburb of Glendene earlier this morning.

Police say they responded to a disorder on Scowns Way, where two people had been injured, shortly before 2am.

The two people were taken to hospital with critical injuries, however, their condition is now listed as stable.

Police say they the men, aged 25 and 37, have been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

They will appear in Waitākere District Court today.

Hato Hone St John Ambulance attended, sending two ambulances and two rapid response vehicles.

Police say there is no wider risk to the public.
