The capital of Solomon Islands, Honiara, has been without bread since New Year's Day.
The situation has been caused by flour shortages throughout the country.
The Solomon Island Broadcasting Corporation says there is no agent to import flour into the country since the withdrawal of the company, Goodman Fielders.
