Chelsea down to third string goalkeeper

06:31 am on 13 March 2010

The Chelsea football club will be without their first and second-choice goalkeepers as they try to reclaim top spot in the English Premier League against West Ham United on Sunday.

The reserve keeper Ross Turnbull will be between the posts after Hilario was ruled out with a groin injury. Hilario has been deputising for Petr Cech who is sidelined with a calf injury.

Chelsea, who are two points behind leaders Manchester United with a game in hand, will also be without Portuguese central defender Ricardo Carvalho.

Turnbull will be making his first league appearance for Chelsea since signing from Middlesbrough.
