Suspicious fire at Hamilton primary school

Firefighters in Hamilton have extinguished a large fire at a local primary school.

The Fire Service said it was called to Hamilton East School shortly before 7am today and found two buildings well alight.

The Service said its investigators were treating the fire as suspicious.

The police and ambulance staff are at the scene, but no one was injured.
