The man whose body was found in a stream in Rotorua earlier this week has been named.

Richard Hoani Herekiuhia, who was 43, was found in the Otamatea Stream in the suburb of Fordlands by a member of the public on Tuesday.
Police said they had an idea about how he died, but still needed to piece together his movements over the past week before drawing any conclusions.
They said he travelled around the city on a black mountain bike which was recovered close to the stream.
Police are encouraging anyone who might have information to contact them.
