Veteran New Zealand actor Sam Neill will host a conversation with Barack Obama in Auckland this week.
The former US president is visiting in a private capacity from Wednesday to Friday.
Mr Obama will be officially welcomed in Auckland on Thursday, talk privately to the Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, and attend a New Zealand US Council event that night.
The details of Mr Obama's trip have remained mostly private, but Mr Neill announced on Twitter today that he is honoured to be in an hour-long conversation with the former president at the invite-only event.
About 800 people from the business, Māori and leadership communites will also be there.
