Crashes on on Auckland's Southwestern Motorway are causing delays for commuters.
A number of vehicles crashed in the southbound lane near Hillsborough at 6.30am, blocking two of the right-hand lanes.
A second crash then blocked the right northbound lane before the Hillsborough Rd off-ramp.
The lanes were cleared, but NZTA/ Waka Kotahi warned delays would continue.
Police said at this stage they believe nobody was injured.
