An expanded Sail GP calendar for next season features 14 events in 14 months, including a stop in Auckland for the first time.

The fourth season of Sail GP will start in Chicago in June 2023 before heading to Europe for five events followed by the Middle East and Asia.

Sydney will then host Sail GP for a record fifth time in February 2024 before the league heads to New Zealand.

Auckland will welcome the foiling catamarans on 16 and 17 March 2024, taking over the hosting rights from Christchurch which will showcase Sail GP for the first time in New Zealand next year.

Sail GP has a four year deal with New Zealand that includes an alternating multi-city hosting arrangement.

Season four will finish back in the northern hemisphere, stopping in Bermuda before a further two North America events, including a potential first home event for the Canada Sail GP Team. The season will finish with the Grand Final in the United States.

Currently Sail GP is halfway through season three and the New Zealand team are second on the leaderboard behind Australia.

Season three resumes next week in Spain. Christchurch is the last event before this season's Grand Final.
