The head of TrustPower chief executive Keith Tempest will step down later this year after eight years at the helm.
Mr Tempest has been with the Tauranga-based company for 23 years. He will leave in late December.
He says he will continue to take a active role in the wider business community in more of a governance role.
On Thursday, Trustpower was given a warning by the Commerce Commission that it was at risk of breaching rules over colluding to reduce competition back in 2004.
