In the mid-2000s,Auckland rapper Tom Scott made his name with the hip-hop crew Home Brew.
In 2018, he returned from a period of seclusion with this more mature and sophisticated piece of work.
On Avantdale Bowling Clup, Scott blends powerful and polyrhythmic rhymes with the playing of some of the country's finest jazz players.
