A group of children are safe after their school bus crashed into a ditch in South Auckland.
Police say the bus was carrying 20 children when it went off the road and ended up in a ditch on Jericho Road in Pukekohe East, about 8.45am on Friday.
They said the driver helped the children out of the bus through the emergency exit, before they were then taken to school by their parents.
Hato Hone St John said one person was treated at the scene for moderate injuries.
