Tiger Woods says he has spoken to Phil Mickelson about derogatory comments from his caddy Steve Williams and is now ready to put the matter "to bed".
Woods says despite the controversy Williams would be back for another season as his right-hand man on the PGA Tour.
The New Zealander's been the caddy for Woods for all but one of his 14 major championships.
Wood says he discussed the matter with Mickelson and Williams, who feels bad about what he said a charity dinner in Taranaki last weekend.
