Changes to ACC levies, the minimum wage and benefits all come into effect today.

The adult minimum wage goes up by 50 cents today to $15.75 an hour.
The minimum starting-out and training hourly wage rates also rise, from $12.20 an hour to $12.60.
Benefit rates lift by 1.1 percent and superannuation payments by 1.4 percent.
Meanwhile, levies paid by workers to the Accident Compensation Corporation will fall by a further $140 million overall.
They've been cut by more than $2 billion dollars since 2008.
Prime Minister Bill English said the changes would help ease the burden on many New Zealand families.
"The sound economic management of the National-led Government over the past nine years has helped get New Zealand back on track and in a position to start sharing the benefits of our growing economy with Kiwis," Mr English said.
