American Samoa Power Authority lets scrap metal contract

The American Samoa Power Authority has contracted an off-island company to manage and clear scrap metal in the territory.

Samoa News reports that the authority has contracted Good Year Corporation, a subsidiary of the Hong Kong-based multi-national Bel Trade Group, to do the job.

It quotes Good Year's CEO Bernard Chu as saying that the company is looking at establishing and developing various businesses in the territory.
