One person has died in an early morning crash in Christchurch.
The police say they were called to the scene, on Bridle Path Road, just before 2am.
The other person in the car was taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified and enquiries into the cause of the crash are continuing.
