Name suppression continues for woman accused over Jermaine Ramos death

The name of a 36-year-old woman charged in relation to a Hastings man's death this month is still being suppressed.

The woman was charged with assault with intent to rob after Jermaine Arias Ramos died under suspicious circumstances at a property in the Hastings suburb of Akina on 4 April.

Police are still investigating the death of the 33-year-old from the Philippines.

Appearing via video link in the Hastings District Court today, the woman was granted continued name suppression and ordered to reappear next month.
