The National Rugby League judiciary has handed down its second suspension in 24 hours, with New Zealand Warriors forward Sione Lousi failing in his bid to have the grading of his dangerous throw charge downgraded.
He will miss three matches after the incident in Wellington last weekend when Wests Tigers backrower Cory Paterson landed on his head in a tackle.
Lousi will be eligible to return for the Warriors on Anzac Day in their traditional match against Melbourne.
Kiwi international Jared Waerea-Hargreaves will not play for the Sydney Roosters against Canterbury tonight after taking the early guilty plea for a tackle which knocked out Manly's Glenn Stewart last week.
This week's judiciary hearing was postponed for a day to allow the panel to hear the case of Melbourne's Jordan McLean concerning the dangerous throw which resulted in Newcastle forward Alex McKinnon suffering a broken neck.
McLean was suspended for seven weeks, but he and the Storm have indicated they are considering an appeal.
