It means the 19 year old has landed on the podium at every event he has competed in this season.

"It feels really nice, one of those moments where it feels like all the hard work has paid off. I would have loved to win all three events, but you can't do everything, and I am stoked with how I have been skiing lately."

Porteous won the World Championship halfpipe at the same venue last week.

His older brother Miguel was also competing in today's final and finished in ninth position after having a crash on his third run trying a historic first trick combo consisting of back-to-back switch double Ally-oop 900s.

"It's a great opportunity to see how the Black Caps inner sanctum go about their work," Devine said.

"As a team they've managed a sustained period of success, so any little insights I can glean and take back to the White Ferns camp will be invaluable.

"I've also done short stints with the Silver Ferns and Black Ferns over the past few months with an eye to developing our own team environment.

"The chance to connect with other elite female athletes is important for our own learning and growth. Both the Silver Ferns and Black Ferns are world champions in their respective codes, so to experience those team environments has been great."

Devine is in line to play her 100th T20 international in the third match against Australia.

Auckland teenager Fran Jonas is the one uncapped player in the White Ferns squad, after making her international debut in the recent three match one-day series against England.

Spurs have jumped above Liverpool and are now just a point behind West Ham United, who earlier blew a 3-0 lead to draw 3-3 with Arsenal.

Arsenal are now ninth, a point above Villa.

Meanwhile, Leicester City are through the semi-finals of the FA Cup for the first time since 1982 after beating Manchester United 3-1.

Leicester will face Southampton for a place in the final at Wembley.

Chelsea have drawn Premier League leaders Manchester City in the other semi-final after the Blues beat Sheffield United 2-0.

Phoenix denied by VAR

The Wellington Phoenix conceded a goal four minutes from time to draw 1-all with Brisbane Roar in their A-League game in Newcastle.

The Phoenix were also upset that a claim for a penalty in stoppage time wasn't given.

After dominating the first half Tomer Hemed scored for the Phoenix just before the break and appeared set to take all three points before allowing the Roar to score in the 86th minute.

Brisbane lost a player for the last couple of minutes following a second yellow card, while the Phoenix thought they should have had a penalty when a clearance by a Roar player in the penalty area struck the arm of the teammate, however the video referee cleared the action, to the disbelief of Wellington players and coaching staff alike.

The match would end with both sides earning a 1-1 draw at full time, with Phoenix Coach Ufuk Talay expressing his disappointment afterwards.

"In the first half we played some really good football, second half I don't think we were as good with the ball - we defended out box quite well but conceding a goal that late is disappointing and dropping two points is very disappointing," said Talay.

"At the end of the day we still get a point, and we've got two more games coming up very quickly so our goal was to get nine points out of these three games - but we've got another six points available in the next two games."

The 10th placed Phoenix face a quick turnaround for their next match, returning home to Woolongong to take on Melbourne Victory on Wednesday.

Van Gisbergen remains unbeaten.

New Zealand driver Shane van Gisbergen has joined an exclusive club, becoming just the fourth driver in history to start a Australian Supercars season with five straight wins.

The Holden ace won all three races at Sandown in Victoria over the weekend to go with his two wins at Mount Panorama last month.

It is his sixth straight win following the 2020 Bathurst 1000 victory at the end of last year.

An impressive outing by van Gisbergen considering he had nine screws inserted into a broken collarbone two weeks' ago following a mountainbike accident.

Van Gisbergen now sits alongside three Hall of Fame inductees for the best ever start to a season; Allan Moffat (1977), Peter Brock (1980) and Mark Skaife (1994) are the only other drivers in the history of Supercars to have started a season with five or more consecutive wins.

On each of those occasions the driver who won five straight races went on to claim the season's Championship.

The 2016 Supercars Champion now holds a 155 point Championship lead over teammate Jamie Whincup, with the next round in tasmania next month.

The Canterbury team's teams nine wicket win over Central Districts in Rangiora, gave them a 47 point lead in the Plunket Shield.
