The All Blacks have claimed their ninth Tri-Nations title and their fourth in a row after defeating Australia 28-24 in Brisbane.

Trailing 7-10 at halftime, the All Blacks scored three converted tries in the second half as an injection of fresh legs also paved the way to the retention of the Bledisloe Cup.

First five Dan Carter scored the winning try with 12 minutes left although Australia kept it tense after they scored with two minutes to go.
