Strike warnings have been issued for two luxury hotels in Bora Bora in French Polynesia.
The union O oe to oe rima says it wants a review of the contracts, including a pay hike for its members working at Intercontinental and the Meridien.
It wants the Meridien to pay the staff collectively a daily $US10,000 motivation incentive to counter pressure from management.
The union says hikes at the Intercontinental could be in the form of a 13th monthly salary each year or a monthly $US200 dollar supplement.
The strike notice says if no agreement is reached staff will go on strike from midnight Monday.
