The NZX50 index fell 12 points, to finish the week at 3268 on turnover of $64.5 million.
Fletcher Building fell 5 cents to $7.93, Telecom fell 1 cent to $2.13, and Contact Energy rose 5 cents to $5.95.
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare was up 1 cent to $2.99, Auckland International Airport down 2 cents to $2.07, and Sky City Entertainment Group down 5 cents to $3.11.
The Warehouse fell 3 cents to $3.77, while Abano Healthcare was unchanged at $5.10.
Mainfreight was up 1 cents to $7.31 after lifting its half year profit by half to $16.5 million on Thursday. Freightway rose 5 cents to $2.95.
Ryman Healthcare fell 1 cent to $2.15 after announcing on Thursday its half year profit rose a third to $52.3 million.
In currency markets, the NZ dollar was at 77.47 US, 78.68 Australian, 48.49 pence, 64.67 yen and 0.5694 euro. The TWI stands at 69.41.
