Mega mogul Kim Dotcom celebrated his 40th birthday last week by releasing Good Times, an über electronic dance music album six months in the making. Music 101 senior producer Sam Wicks went out to the Dotcom mansion to get the skinny on Kim's foray on to the dancefloor.
The larger than life millionaire says he got serious about making music while developing a site that caters for all an artist's "needs and desires". He wanted to understand what an artist is going through when he's creating his work. "It was an excellent opportunity to learning everything about the music industry from the inside, from the viewpoint of the artist."
