Charges laid over Bledisloe Cup fireworks

16:39 pm on 20 February 2015

Charges have been laid over an incident in which spectators at a Bledisloe Cup game at Eden Park were injured by rogue fireworks.

Three people were injured and one was taken to hospital in the incident, which happened just after the haka at the All Blacks-Australia game in August last year.

WorkSafe said charges had been laid in the Auckland District Court.

However, it is refusing to say what the charges are or to give any reason why it will not release that information.
