New Zealand drivers Scott Dixon and Scott McLaughlin have finished outside the top three at the latest Indycar race in Texas.
Team Penske's Josef Newgarden took the lead from Arrow McLaren's Pato O'Ward with two laps to go, to win at Texas Motor Speedway.
Seconds after Newgarden's decisive move, Romain Grosjean crashed in Turn 2 with the race finishing under caution.
Alex Palou was inished third and David Malukas fourth with Dixon, who started from second on the grid, rounding out the top five.
McLaughlin who'd started back in 15th spot on the grid, finished sixth.
The result leaves O'Ward at the top of the championship, Marcus Ericson second while Dixon, a six time Indy championship winner, maintains third spot.
McLaughlin is eighth overall.
The next race is the Acura Grand Prix at Long Beach in California on April 16th.
