A body that was found at Muriwai Beach in Auckland has been confirmed to be that of a fisherman who went missing last week.

Police say Lianpeng Liang, 43, went missing after falling into the water while fishing on 5 October near Kauwahaia Island.
His death will be referred to the coroner.
