The government has just revealed its next steps in responding to the Royal Commission into the March 15 shootings which killed 51 people and injured 40.
Witnesses to the attack are excluded from receiving ACC assistance for their trauma, but the report recommends that the Government should direct the Accident Compensation Corporation to support them.
It has yet to do so, although it promised to fulfil all the recommendations.
Abdul Aziz told our reporter Sally Murphy he is traumatised from what he saw, and he wants to be helped as a victim.
