The organizing committee for the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa will soon have a chief executive.
Prime Minister and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi said his cabinet would deliberate today on the appointment of a chief executive.
He also said a check of games facilities had identified areas for improvement with workers from China due to start repairs and maintenance under an aid arrangement.
Samoa was named host of the Games last year after original host Tonga pulled out.
Tuilaepa spearheaded a short campaign to bring the games to Samoa with Guam the only other bidder.
