Police have arrested and charged a 17-year-old with aggravated robbery in relation to an attack in Wellington earlier this month in which a person was struck with a machete.
The incident happened at Stellin Memorial Park in Northland on 9 January.
The teenager will appear in the Wellington Youth Court today.
Police had already charged one other person and say they have evidence to arrest a third.
Detective Sergeant Steve Wescott said officers were also following "strong lines of enquiry" in relation to another person, who was believed to be wearing a Nomad gang vest at the time of the attack.
